What you ask of me
Is a part of me
But what’s the use of asking something
That you don’t have strength to hold for long enough
To understand it
What you ask of me
Is a dream of mine
That i planted with an innocent will
And i don’t see you have a heart as pure as the kid i was
To understand it
What you ask of me
Is a deep emotion
That i hide in my heart from all evil
And i don’t see you care for it the way it really needs
To understand it
What you ask of me
Is my soul afterall
That is as deep as the deepest ocean
And you are nothing like a river headed for it and thats what it takes
To understand it
What you ask of me
Is what i ask of myself
And have spent years on it and never complained
And you don’t even wish to wait but dear a lifetime is what it takes
To understand it.
PRASHANT RANA
those addicted to shores never gets to feel the pleasure of finding a pearl,
they have to spend a lot to buy it.
they have to spend a lot to buy it.
